Data Copyright & Intellectual Property (IP) Policy

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All intellectual property on the Skillbru AI platform, including but not limited to:

• Mock interview questions
• AI-generated feedback and scores
• Code assessments and test banks
• UI/UX design, source code, databases
• Training material, help guides
• Branding elements (logos, name, design)

These are the exclusive property of Skillbru AI Private Limited and protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws.

Reproduction, redistribution, or unauthorized usage  of such content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

2. User-Generated Content

Users (students, university admins, HR recruiters) may upload or submit:

• Resumes
• Academic records
• Written code solutions
• Feedback or evaluations
• Job descriptions or company profiles

By uploading such content, users:

• Grant Skillbru AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, use, display, and process this content for service delivery purposes.
• Retain full ownership and copyright of their personal content.

Skillbru AI does not claim ownership of user-generated content but may use it internally (e.g., anonymized training data for AI improvement) unless otherwise opted out.

3. Use of Third-Party Content

Skillbru AI may integrate with or display content from third-party providers (e.g., code compilers, resume parsers, or company APIs).

• All third-party content remains owned by their respective copyright holders.
• Users are responsible for compliance with third-party licensing terms.

4. Prohibited Use

Users may not:

• Copy, scrape, or reproduce any assessment or interview material.
• Publish test questions or feedback externally.
• Claim platform-generated content as their own for resale.
• Use platform output to train competing AI models.
• Reverse-engineer platform logic or tools.

Violation may lead to account suspension, legal action, or claims under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

5. Infringement Claims

If you believe that any content on the Skillbru AI platform infringes on your intellectual property:

Include: Name, contact, description of copyrighted material, and evidence.

We will review and respond within 15 business days.

6. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated interview feedback or scoring belongs to Skillbru AI and may not be redistributed, modified, or used outside of the platform without written permission.

Anonymized data may be retained and used for machine learning improvements.

7. Jurisdiction

All matters related to IP ownership or infringement are governed by Indian IP laws. Disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
